Sisterlocks Up Up & Away

Here is my cute & sassy updo.. I'm calling it Up, Up, & Away!! I achieved this style by making 2 large twists going up the back.. & 5 medium twists going back across the front.. I used pink perm rods to get my curls.. H2O spritzer with a little Lotta Body mixed.. && 7-10 bobby pins for security.. I am pleased with the outcome.. Its not tight.. It feels & looks grrrrrrrr8!! Hoping this do lasts for the week.. So far so good!! But I'll let you know how it goes!!!!!! Week 25, month 5!!!! Yayer!!!

Hand-in-hair-itis..........

Maybe just maybe... I am gonna look at it as encouragement!! You know like a high five!! Just say some encouraging words while you give your babies high fives!!!

However.. If I feel like I am over encouraging I'll just stick 'um up! ;-)

I know I am not pulling my hair out.. Or manipulating my locks.. Only encouraging them!! I tell them they are beautiful!! That I not only have good hair, but I have great hair and the best hair!!!

my scalp and hair moisturizers

here are some products i use every once & a while.. not daily for sure!! my Sisterlocks are still baby gurls and slippage aint cute!! one of my spritzer bottles is h2o, olive, shea, avocado oils (GARNIER FRUCTIS).. i added coconut oil =) tehehehe.. shake-it-a-baby real good & spray.. another is Taliah Waajid African Healing Oyl.. both smells & feels fabulous!! 

i love it!! hubs cringes when i spritz my Sisterlocks with my h2o bottle of patience, then i squirt it in my mouth!! lol gets him everytime.. then he says black gurls cant put water in their hair.. i say this one does!! bam! i must say i love the way he loves my hair & its transition/journey.. && he cant keep his hands out of it either.. i guess thats what we will call an attraction to our babies.. i am thankful that he has always said i don't do my hair for him & he is a great supporter.. luv u babes.. ~smoochie smooch

happy 5 month locversary!!

i got my reti @ 4 weeks yesterday.. & today is 5 months.. tomorrow is week 22!!! i am very excited about my progress!! everyday is a perfect hair day.. the curls are a day 3 success.. & they even lasted through reti session! BOOM-KAK

on another note... my hands stay in my hair!.. i am sure everybody else says this & its true!! i love my hair & i love the way it feels.. lol.. i know i know i know.. but its like a little tingle in my fingers or in my scalp.. & there goes hand is all up in my head!! i don't bother my hair when i have a bonnet or scarf on.. so i am tryna imagine a fake bubble around my head & i wont have the -itis @ that moment.. you wouldn't know but i just stopped typing & did it again..
